Technical Services Project Manager

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Service Project Manager to lead and coordinate large-scale HVAC field service and repair projects. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with strong organizational and communication skills, who thrives in fast-paced environments. You will serve as the key link between internal teams, field technicians, and external stakeholders to ensure project success from planning through completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed plans for complex field service and repair projects.

• Coordinate jobsite logistics, including job box shipments, site contacts, rigging arrangements, and more.

• Clearly communicate project scope and expectations to repair teams.

• Serve as the primary liaison with sales reps, vendors, suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders.

• Monitor and report on project status, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.

• Conduct post-project follow-ups to assess satisfaction and capture lessons learned.

• Standardize Sequences of Operation for common repair project types.

• Travel occasionally (up to 25%) for job site reviews and customer meetings.

• Identify and document areas for improved serviceability and efficiency.

• Analyze data to forecast future service trends and needs.

• Organize and manage inventory of service tools, safety gear, and equipment.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.

• Perform other duties as assigned in support of departmental and company goals.

 

Qualifications

• Strong project management and organizational skills.

• Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a dynamic environment.

• Creative problem-solver with a mindset for continuous improvement.

• Skilled communicator with experience in customer-facing and cross-functional roles.

• Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Forms, Power Automate).

• Able to prioritize tasks and work independently.

• Comfortable handling multiple projects under tight deadlines.

• High attention to detail and documentation accuracy.

• Experience in field service or technical project coordination is a plus.

 

Preferred Traits

• 5+ years of experience in project management, field service, or a related role.

• Familiarity with mechanical, industrial, or HVAC systems.

• Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.

• Passion for improving processes and workflows.

• Motivated to lead change and deliver results.
